Ro Boost Pressure Pump
RO booster pumps are used when it is necessary to increase or boost the water pressure that is supplied to the RO system in order to increase the efficiency. An RO booster pump’s efficiency is directly correlated with the pressure of the incoming feed water at the time of operation. Typical reverse osmosis systems require a minimum of 50 psi of pressure to ensure that the system functions properly. The system will produce less water at a lower quality if the water pressure is below 50 psi, which will result in less water being produced.
It is important to note that there is not just one best reverse osmosis pump for everyone. In order for your pump to function properly, it should meet the needs of the system you have. If your RO system produces a lot of gallons per day (GPD) it will be important to choose a pump based upon how much GPD it produces. You should match the output of your RO unit to the ratings of your booster pump in order to achieve optimal performance at the lowest cost.
The advantages of RO booster pumps can be seen in the following paragraphs
- System with a higher level of efficiency when it comes to RO
